District Grand Prefect ventures into Yorkshire

 
On Saturday March 25th, a party of Brethren from West Lancashire made an early start to venture into Yorkshire.

The reason for the outing was to attend the District Meeting for Yorkshire, being a neighbouring District the District Grand Prefect Bill Seddon lead the deputation. We as ever received a warm welcome with tea and biscuits on our arrival.

At the meeting, R.W.Bro. David Cordell D.G.P. for Yorkshire thanked Bill Seddon and the twelve other members of our District for their support in attending the meeting.

In the party from West Lancashire was the Grand Junior Deacon, who together with his entourage took the train from Carnforth travelling through the Yorkshire Dales eventually arriving at Leeds.

Following the meeting we were treated to a three course Banquet in the company of friends from both the District of Yorkshire and other Districts visiting the meeting.
